I am a homeschooling mum of four, though they are now all grown up and graduated. I get my excitement by working part-time as a doctor in Accident and Emergency.
I am very lucky to have a husband who never complains if the house isn’t as tidy as it could be and enjoy spending my few free hours researching the history of Formula 1 cars and hymn writers – the first the poetry of engineering and the second the poetry of words.
I also have Immune-mediated Necrotising Myositis – a disease where my body’s immune system has decided that it needs to seek out and destroy my muscles. I have coped with this sudden disability by sharing my story which enables me to process and debrief my trauma and to hopefully help others who are having to cope with a rare illness.
I have enjoyed your writings so far.. 🙂
Thanks 🙂
hey Jen
thanks for your wonderful writings… Praising God even in testing times.
I know full well the difficulties with chronic conditions that frustrated and test the ups and downs with good and bad ways… With doctors that don’t listen ( for whatever reason) , watching both Jenna and Zoe be tested for years with chronic conditions that they struggle with…. And myself with the same walk over the last 2 years .. which tests my faith alternating between “I must go to church” and then ” why bother”..
still, good things are our promise. God has blessed us all, and the girls finally “feel good” ❤️
my goals right now
blessings to you
love Michell
